From first glance you perceive this pendant to be nothing but a black stone. However, let the sun light it up and you see a rainbow of colors hiding from view. This is a Rainbow Obsidian and is a large statement cabochon wire wrapped in beautiful Argentium Sterling silver wire. The top of the pendant has a little extra to give it movement and beauty. This piece is approximately 2½“from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant and weighs about 30.8 grams. It is about 1¾” at its widest point. This is a designer cabochon hand cut and polished by me.

Argentium® Sterling Silver is a patented and trademarked alloy that is at least 92.5% pure silver, just like traditional sterling silver. What makes it different from traditional sterling silver is that a small amount of germanium replaces some of the copper that is usually the other 7.5% of sterling silver.
